Tre Rios Media & Marketing founded the Hip Hop League (HHL) to reclaim the narrative. We believe that MCing, DJing, Breaking, and Graffiti are not just "arts"—they are high-level disciplines that require the same strategy, athleticism, and mental fortitude as any professional sport.
Headquartered in Pittsburgh with roots in the birthplace of the culture, NYC, Tre Rios Media is bridging the gap between the streets and the boardrooms. We aren't just creating a competition; we are building a sustainable ecosystem where artists are paid like pros and owners invest in a global phenomenon.

To be a sport, you need a transparent scoring system. Each match is a "Cypher Battle" where teams earn points across four rounds.

Are You League Material?
The HHL is looking for the "starting eight" for our 10-20 city franchises. We don’t care about your follower count—we care about your craft.
General Submission Rules:
Video Length: Exactly 60 seconds (no more, no less).
Format: Vertical (9:16) - High quality lighting and clear audio are mandatory.
Registration Fee: $35 (Non-refundable processing & scouting fee).
Element Specifics:
MCs (2 Spots per Team): Show us 30 seconds of written flow and 30 seconds of freestyle. We are looking for lyricism, breath control, and stage presence.
DJs (2 Spots per Team): A 60-second set featuring at least one transition and one technical skill (scratching, beat-juggling, or live remixing).
Dancers (3 Spots per Team): A 60-second "all-out" round. We need to see musicality, "blow-up" moves, and foundational footwork.
Taggers (1 Spot per Team): A 60-second time-lapse of a piece (canvas, digital, or wall). Show us your "handstyle" and your "production" capability.
Note: Professionalism matters. Winners will be issued a "Golden Tag" and invited to the regional combines for final roster selection.

The HHL is a professional sports organization. We are committed to transparency in our scaling model and our compensation for the culture’s elite talent.
For the Artists: The Pro Contract
Earning a spot on a city’s Starting 8 is more than just a win—it is a career.
Base Salary: Starting at $30,000 per season.
Performance Incentives: Additional bonuses for "Match MVP," "Season Leaders," and "Cypher Wins."
Appearance Fees: Guaranteed fees for league-sanctioned media, workshops, and brand activations.
The Audition Fee: A $35 non-refundable processing and scouting fee is required to submit your 60-second Heat Check. This ensures every submission is reviewed by our professional scouting team.
For the Visionaries: Franchise Ownership
We are currently vetting partners for our 10-20 city rollout. Ownership provides exclusive territory rights and a stake in the fastest-growing culture-to-sport pipeline.
Franchise Acquisition: Entry begins at $500k – $1M per city, depending on the market tier (NYC, Pittsburgh, etc.).
Inclusions: Professional branding, talent draft access via Tre Rios Media, and league-wide media rights.

This is the Official League Registration Form, with your (non-REFUNDABLE $35.00) REGISTRATION FEE. This puts you in our data base and insures you get an official Audition. The first round , there is a second round of Auditions but they are FREE!!!!!!!
2nd round Auditios are HEAD TO HEAD , LIVE ON STAGE OR ON THE WEB. ALL 2ND ROUND WINNERS WILL BE OFFERED A 30K PLUS INCENTIVES CONTRACT FOR 1 SEASON IN THE AMERICAN HIP HOP LEAGUE.
